America, and Americans, need to get with the programme.

The repeal, by the U. S. Senate, of the odious "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy could very well have been the essential, and as yet missing, catalyst for real change within the core fabric of American society, and its' value system. Once again, America's duly elected representatives have failed miserably in their duty, not just to Americans as a whole, but to The World at large, wherein the opportunity for them to have illustrated to all, for once and all time, that The United States of America is truly "one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all"  having sadly slipped through their collected fingers.

To Barak Obama, I say this, "It's not too late, sir."

I'm begging of you, please sign the Executive Order that surely must be sitting smack dab in the middle of your desk in the Oval Office; citing, that with the one stroke of your pen, you could, and can, and will, elevate defeat to victory, and thereby reset the course of America's and The World's history and create that one seminal, and defining, moment whereby your Administration signals that there is equality and justice for all, that there is only one nation, indivisible, when referring to The United States of America.  Too, this would put on notice to all Americans, going into the forthcoming mid-term elections, the direction they should all be seriously considering upon their entering the polling booth and casting their ballots in six weeks time.

Equal justice for all, before God, regardless of whom that God may be in the mind of each and every American, is a policy worthy of the Office that you presently occupy.  It is a policy that needs to be enforced.  It is a policy whose time has surely come.
